Subsequent years brought the Sole selling agency for the state of Uttar Pradesh for Gloster Wires and Under Ground Cables. The organization also started dealing with both Private and Public sector organizations and added a few other Electrical lines like Fans & Switches..

After becoming Selling Agent, Mr. O.N. Chaturvedi took the big responsibility to work towards the introduction of the then unknown "Gloster Cables" brand into the Indian markets and to Big Power Projects. His was a tough job as indigenous High Tension cables were unknown products at those years.

By his sheer hard work and dedication, the sales of Gloster Cables picked up momentum. An important change happened, when some highly reputed private industries and big projects started accepting Gloster Wires & Cables.

Those were the days of 'Peramite' , the brand name of Indian Cable Company. However our human approach to business was greatly appreciated by leading electrical contractors. Thus Gloster Cable made important headway into the market space. There was a time when dealers mostly preferred to stock or trade Gloster Cables as the policies of the firm were more dealer friendly.

Our healthy policies attracted big contractors from Delhi & Bombay who reposed faith in us by placing multimillion rupee orders to us.

The organization sits comfortably now as the Sole Selling Agent of leading Cable manufacturing unit for over 50 years. Gloster also developed a big way under leadership of Mr. S.N. Bangur and brought XLPE cables with Japanies Technical Know how ( with Radiant Curing System ) to replace the prevailing paper cable of the olden days. This acted as a big-boost to the sales as well as to profile of Gloster .and of Choubay & Co..

  RECENT YEARS :

  Mr. Avinash Chaturvedi with a Masters in Commerce joined the organization in 1969 and Mr. Vineet Chaturvedi (M.B.A) followed. In the recent years the organization has joined hands with new leading brands like 3M India Ltd, INDO ASIAN, CROMPTON, SCHNEIDER, KANOHAR & NATIONAL TUBING.
